Pocky day

I know its days after pocky day but i was slaving over tests and i only had time now dkbsksjdjs thank u to my twt oomfs for the headcanons. Also i never have written newgen before cause i havent gotten to that part of the voice drama yet thats why dodbdkd. Hope u enjoyed.

It was pocky day or pepero day. Whichever one you wanted to call it. So with a box of pocky/pepero ready you approached your lover with the idea of playing the pocky game in mind.

Yatonokami Kanata

When you went up to Kanata holding the box of pocky he was slightly confused as you made no move to give it to him or whatnot. So when you told him you actually wanted to do, he frowned thinking it was a waste of time.

“That sounds stupid. Why would anyone play that?” Kanata huffed his brows furrowed.

“Aww. Come on, please Kanata? It’ll be fun?” You pleaded with him.

“No.” His response came out sharp but not rough, never with you.

You sulked when he denied it, walking away with a crestfallen face bringing the pocky box along with you. Seeing you like that stuck something in him and he just sighed annoyed before the words ‘fine’ reached your ears. You perked up and instantly went up to him, opening the pocky box and pulling a stick out while passing him the box.

“You place it here like this.” You demonstrated it to him, placing the pocky stick on your lips holding it in place. The other free end facing Kanata. “And then you do the same thing on the other side. Then we start.”

Kanata complied albeit being embarrassed to do something dumb like this. Well if you thought it wasn’t dumb then he supposed it was fine. Kanata being the one who gets quite flustered at even the slightest initiation of intimacy, didn’t move at all, letting you take the lead as you bit the pocky bit by bit. The distance between the two of you growing smaller and smaller and Kanata turning more flustered by the second.

The look on his face when you were a bite away from kissing him, your lips brushing against him was enough to make his face crimson red. He didn’t have time to think before you closed the gap though, giving him a light kiss and pulling back. You smiled at him happily as he covered his face with his arm, glaring at you at what you did, although it didn’t have much bite.

Yeon Hajun

You were aware that today was pocky day, you did have plans to play the pocky game with Hajun but you didn’t know what or why or if pigs had started flying for Hajun to approach you that day with a pepero box in his hands suggesting in a playful tone for the two of you to do it.

“Pepero?” You questioned him, eyeing the chocolate strawberry flavoured pepero he had in his hands.

“Yeah. In Korea it’s pepero day instead of pocky day although I’m not sure why we bother copying Japan anyways.” He smiled at you teasingly waving the pepero box in front of you. “Well? Shall we?”

Hajun was a sly and cunning man, that’s what you thought as he increasingly got closer to you, eating the pepero away bite by bite only to stop painfully long near your lips, his brushing against yours. He had that signature smirk of his on his face as he leaned in, only for you to close your eyes to find that his presence was gone. When you opened your eyes you found Hajun smirking playfully at you holding a new pepero stick in his fingers.

“Hm?? Did you think I was going to kiss you dear?” Hajun used that sickeningly sweet tone of his, the one he uses to with his fangirls that makes them all swoon.

“What?! No!” A slight blush adorned your face at being teased like that.

“Oh? But you had your eyes closed so maybe you really thought that I was going to kiss you?”

“No, shut up.” You grabbed the pepero stick from him frustrated as you started another round. This time you were the one taking the bites as Hajun sat there staring at you intensely with a serious look on his face. You wondered what he was scheming, looking like that all of a sudden.

You were about to break off the pepero stick when it was one bite away from his lips but Hajun knowing you well could tell what you were thinking of as he raised his hand to the back of your head and pushed it, locking the two of you into a sweet long teasing kiss. Less to say he didn’t stop poking fun at your reaction to his ministrations for a couple of days after that.

Masaki Hokusai

You had a pocky box held in front of your face as you shyly asked Hokusai if he was willing to play the pocky game with you. When it came to things like this, the two of you were kinda awkward, kinda shy but it didn’t matter and there were times when the boldness would kick in but only just a bit.

Hokusai was feeling a bit shy at agreeing to do it but he could see that you really wanted to do it based on your body language. He knew that if he denied it you would probably shy away for a while. So he agreed, not minding it much since it was you.

And when the two of you managed to get situated, the pocky stick on both of your lips, none of you moved. You felt nervous and so did Hokusai but he decided to take the lead.

“It’s okay, I’ll pull away before our lips touch if that helps” He mumbled as he bit the pocky stick, moving closer and closer to you.

“It’s fine, if you want to kiss….” You shook your head slightly as you insisted.

And Hokusai took your words for it, meeting your lips in a soft warm comforting kiss. Which made your face explode red, ah maybe you shouldn’t have been so adamant for something you weren’t mentally ready for yet.

When the two of you pulled away, you both looked away in slight embarrassment but Hokusai could see how red you were so he got worried and started fussing over you.

Suiseki Iori

You didn’t think Iori was one to be interested in playing the pocky game at all but it didn’t surprise you considering how he was. What did surprise you was that he suggested this while the two of you were at club candy which was the last place you thought he would’ve said it since there were better places to play it but oh welp.

“Seriously? Here? out of all places?” You questioned him in disbelief.

“Why? Scared cutie?” Iori teased.

“Pfttt. No.” You half heartedly glare at him.

You were in his office taking out a pocky stick from the box he had bought in advance. And when you placed it on your lips and his, none of you moved. You thought he was going to take the lead so you eyed him questionably.

“Why don’t you take the lead? Or are you shy? Hm?” Iori eyed you, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

You got ticked off so you did the honours and took the bites. But for each bite he would throw a tease at you, provoking you further.

“Just a small bite? Go on, take a bigger one.” “Why? Scared of being close to me?” “Do I make you that flustered?”

So when you got so close to his lips and took the last bite, clashing your lips with his wanting to shut him up. Iori was in for a pleasant surprise. And when you pulled away he was smiling proud of himself for pushing you to get a kiss out of it.

Maruyama Reo

“Hey, hey. Let’s play.” Reo had practically come skipping to you with a pocky box in his hands.

“Sure.” You answered as you glanced at the box in hand.

Reo took the lead. Taking small bites out of the pocky. He was feeling confident, planning to go all the way near your lips before pulling away. Yeah, that’s what he would do.

You just stared at him as he ate away at the pocky, a bit embarrassed, a bit nervous but slightly excited for what's to come.

“You’re not going to back down huh Reo?” You decided to rile him up.

“Of course not!” He smiled cheekily. Reo thinks that you would probably shy away at the end.

“Is that so…?”

So when he stopped at the last bite, pausing to give you a chance at breaking the pocky off, he was so confident that you would break it off but he wasn’t prepared for what happened next. You had actually leaned in and kissed him. Reo’s eyes widened, not at all expecting this outcome and when you pulled away his face was as pink as his hair, eyes as wide as saucers and his mouth slightly agape. Oh it was definitely worth it for the view that you were greeted with right now.

Inukai Yuto

Yuto was aware of what the pocky game is on account of Shion mentioning it before once or twice. However, he didn’t see the appeal of it. Like why would people decide to use a pocky and eat away at it at a slow pace only to eventually kiss or not. What was the appeal? He didn’t know.

So when you came up to him with a pocky box in hand and those pleading eyes asking him if you could play it with him, he couldn’t help but cave in. Yuto being as he is was nervous when you positioned the pocky and started it.

Taking small bites just to not scare him off. You could see he was flustered. The closer you got the more flustered and red his face got. You weren’t even that close before he broke the pocky stick off. Darting away to do work somewhere.

Hancho

You thought it was Yuto at first but that was until you looked closely that you realised it was actually Hancho with the way he held himself. Hancho was the same as Yuto, knowing about what the pocky game is but he very much does not see the appeal more than Yuto does.

So when you went up to him asking if he could play it with you he just stared at you with an annoyed expression, thinking it’s a waste of time. After some pestering and insistence for you he grumbly agreed to it so it would shut you up but it’s more like it’s because you asked for it.

Hancho somehow miraculously stayed still for you as you set up the pocky. Him letting you do what you want. But the way you went at it was a little too painfully slow for him. You went slow because compared to Yuto, Hancho was more on the unpredictable side and unpredictable he was.

You didn’t expect him to just grab the pocky and toss it away, proceeding to crash his lips on yours in a slightly aggressive kiss. Maybe you should do this more often.

Yatonokami Nayuta

Compared to his twin brother…. Nayuta is more chill about it when you approach him with the idea in mind. He does know what it was and it did pass his mind that you would probably ask to play it with him at some point. No surprises there for him.

He didn’t particularly care nor did he see a point in doing it but knowing that you wanted to do it was enough to make him agree to it. So taking the pocky box out of your hands he opened the package, taking a stick out and handing it to you. Yeah, very chill see?

With the pocky in place by yours truly, you moved slowly at your own pace, eating it. You were more focussed on the pocky’s distance rather than Nayuta’s face. Since you had taken the lead it gave Nayuta more opportunity to focus on your expression as you chipped away at the pocky, that focused face of yours, he thought it was cute.

When you got insanely close, you stopped, wanting to break the stick off but Nayuta was feeling a bit cheeky today. So he leaned in, taking the last bite and connecting with your lips. It was your idea after all.

Ando Shiki

Being a highschool student had its disadvantages and one of them was being forced to place the pocky game, in front of the whole class during lunch break. Fortunately for you, they ended up pairing and forcing you to play it with Shiki. Poor boy was shaking in place, his face red as he watched you grab the pocky box from your friends. Peer pressure much?

Sure he was your boyfriend but that didn’t stop him from sometimes being a bundle of nerves. He was your bundle of nerves though. You noticed that he was more nervous than usual. Probably because you were in front of the whole class, the ones who decided to watch anyway. You grabbed his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze trying to calm him down.

The whole time while you were biting off the pocky stick you held his hand which elicited some whistles and cheers from your classmates seeing the two of you being so lovey dovey. Slow and steady you went, not wanting to malfunction Shiki’s brain just in case you went too fast.

When you got close enough to kiss, you hesitated. You didn’t think about it when you started. You weren’t sure if he would short circuited if you kissed him here or would he prefer that you didn’t.

Shiki, noticing your hesitance, tugged on your intertwined hands and you glanced at him. His eyes showed conviction, a sign that it was okay for you to do so. And so you leaned in. It was more of a short peck rather than a kiss, deciding in front of the class was not the best place to do so. Shiki deals with intimate stuff better in private rather than with an audience. When you pulled away, Shiki’s face was red but he had a sweet smile directed at you.
